Motion design
Build 3D motion graphics around your video.
Combine animated 3D typography, objects and camera moves with editable video, graphics and sound. Build and revise the full composition in Tesseract.
Read the prompt
Set up Tesseract by Mirage so you can create editable designs and 3D scenes, edit videos, and make motion graphics in this agent’s environment. Read https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract and check the requirements for this local or hosted environment. If it is supported, follow the official plugin or skills installation guide, use its required runtime version, verify the download checksum, and confirm a short preview renders correctly. Then ask what I want to make and which brand references or source assets I have. Keep the editable project and source assets with the finished render.
Give your agent this .tsrct file, then ask for a specific change.
Made in Tesseract
Animate a pattern without placing every copy.
Arrays arrange editable objects in linear, grid, radial, curve or surface patterns. Changing the arrangement gives a motion sequence a repeatable structure that can be timed to supplied music.
Mix dimensions in one project.
Keep 3D scenes alongside editable type, shapes, footage and supplied audio. Change a headline or the timing of a graphic without rebuilding the entire scene.
Build repeatable movement.
Use arrays, paths, constraints and animation layers to coordinate objects. Keep spacing, timing and variation adjustable as you refine the composition.
Put your graphics on a surface.
Use an editable video or animated 2D layer as a material source. Place an interface on a screen or moving artwork on an object while preserving the source animation.
The workflow
Build it with your agent.
Start with the brief and references. Review the composition and movement before the final render.
Plan the sequence around the message.
Give the agent the exact text, brand references, duration and supplied music. Agree on the opening, transitions and end card before adding a large number of objects.
Choose a small set of 3D treatments.
Use an extruded title, repeated objects or a single camera move where each helps communicate something. Keep the remaining graphic elements simple enough to read.
Time the changes to the audio.
Ask the agent to mark beats and larger energy changes in the supplied track. Align small visual changes as well as major transitions, and review the rhythm in a draft video.
Revise the existing composition.
Point out overcrowded frames, weak timing or unreadable type. Preserve the approved structure and music while revising those moments, then review the complete export.
A starting point
Give your agent
a concrete brief.
Install or update the official Tesseract skills, attach your references, and adapt this prompt. Ask the agent to check that its runtime includes the 3D tools it needs.
Set up TesseractCopy and adapt this prompt
Create a 10-second editable motion graphics video in Tesseract for [message]. Use the attached brand guide and music. First map the beats and propose three scenes with their exact text. Combine a readable 3D title, a simple repeated-object pattern and a clear end card with ordinary editable graphics. Time every visual change, including small scale and spacing changes, to the music. Keep the 3D scene, text, material controls and audio in the same project. Show representative frames, render a draft, inspect the rhythm and readability, then make targeted revisions before exporting the video and .tsrct project.
Review the result
Check the details
before the final export.
Follow one main idea per frame.
Look at the draft without sound first. If the camera, text and repeated objects all demand attention, identify which element should lead and which should become quieter.
Listen to the timing.
Play the video with the supplied track. Small movements should feel intentional on the beat, and major changes should fit the music’s structure.
Check how layers interact.
Confirm that titles remain readable over the scene. If a graphic should be reflected, refracted or placed on an object, make it part of the appropriate 3D material rather than relying on flat layer order.
Example follow-up
Keep the music, wording and scene order. The objects compete with the headline in scene two, and the final transition arrives after the beat. Simplify that composition and move the transition onto the beat.
Useful details before you start.
Do I need source footage?
No. You can create the sequence from editable 3D objects, type, shapes and supplied audio. You can also include real footage or use an existing video as a surface texture when that fits the brief.
Are cloners and scatter tools particle simulations?
No. Arrays and surface scattering place copies using editable patterns, variation and density controls. They do not provide a general particle system with emission, lifetimes, forces and collision simulation.
Can I combine several shots into one project?
Yes. Compatible editable projects can be appended or overlaid while retaining their layers and packaged dependencies. Canvas, frame rate, color and composition-wide settings must match. Separate 3D scenes stay separate rather than becoming one shared scene automatically.
Can the final motion graphics video be HDR?
Supported 3D scenes can share the HDR pipeline with footage and graphics. Tesseract exports HDR video as 10-bit HEVC with PQ or HLG signaling. Review the HDR master on compatible hardware and prepare a separate SDR version for destinations that do not preserve HDR.
