This notice explains the cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies used on the marketing pages of mirage.app and captions.ai. The Captions web application, including platform.mirage.app, is outside the scope of these website controls. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Your choices
Optional analytics and advertising are off until you allow them. You can reject optional technologies, allow them, or choose categories separately. Using the website or closing your browser does not count as consent.
ConsentPro, provided by Finsweet, supplies our consent banner and preference controls. Use Privacy choices to review or change your settings at any time. Turning off a category stops future collection through the integrations controlled by that setting and removes the optional first-party identifiers we control. It does not delete information a provider already received or cookies on that provider’s own domain. Our Privacy Policy explains how to make a data-rights request.
Your choices apply to the browser and domain where you make them. Mirage and Captions use different website domains, so you may be asked separately on each. Clearing browser storage or using a different browser can require a new choice. Where a browser sends Global Privacy Control, we keep advertising off. Your choices do not change the privacy settings in our mobile applications or on third-party websites.

Storage and retention
Cookies can last for a browsing session or remain until their expiry. Browser local storage can remain until it is removed. The duration depends on the purpose and provider.
ConsentPro uses the first-party fs-consent cookie to store your category choices, decision date, and consent-record identifier. Our websites accept optional permissions for up to 180 days after your decision; after that, optional technologies remain off until you make a new choice. Consent records help us document your preferences and are separate from advertising or analytics profiles. ConsentPro also receives the page origin and path, browser information, coarse region, and a pseudonymous identifier to record your choices. Its privacy policy describes that processing and retention.
The necessary session cookie mirage_gpc records an active Global Privacy Control signal supplied by your browser or extension, including signals sent through request headers. A separate mirage_privacy_opt_out cookie remembers an advertising opt-out, including Global Privacy Control, for 400 days. An explicit Advertising opt-in can replace that opt-out only when Global Privacy Control is not enabled. You can reopen Privacy choices whenever you want.
You can also remove cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or remove saved preferences. Third-party policies describe their own retention practices; our Privacy Policy explains our retention criteria.
