Tilt the camera’s plane of focus.

Create selective focus with Tesseract’s 3D tilt-shift controls. Adjust the focus plane, lens shift and aperture through your agent.

The focus plane starts untilted, then tilts across a receding grid. The sharp region becomes diagonal while the camera and objects stay fixed.

Rendered in Tesseract with path tracing at 128 samples per pixel. Download the editable project to revise the scene.

Give your agent this .tsrct file, then ask for a specific change.

Try it in your agent.

Use this prompt as a starting point. Review the result, then ask for the details you want to change.

A prompt to start from

Create a small Tesseract tabletop scene with several objects receding into depth. Use a tilted focus plane so a diagonal strip of objects stays sharp. Show a normal-focus preview beside the tilt-shift version. Keep the camera position and objects unchanged. Revise only the tilt direction if the sharp area misses the main subject.

Keep control of the result.

Focus-plane tilt
Choose the angle and direction of the plane that remains sharp.
Focus placement
Set the focus distance or supported target relationship.
Lens shift
Adjust the frame composition independently of camera rotation.
Aperture
Control how gradually the scene falls out of focus.

A few useful details.

Is this a blur strip over the image?

No. The 3D camera has a tilted focus plane. The result depends on scene depth and camera optics.

Does lens shift do the same thing as tilt?

No. Shift adjusts framing; tilt changes the focus-plane orientation. They can be used together but solve different problems.

Can I animate it?

Yes. The controls are editable camera properties. Preview the focus plane throughout the move, especially if the camera is also moving or zooming.

How do I try this with my agent?

Install or update Tesseract in a supported agent, attach your source files, and copy the prompt. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Tesseract renders in the environment where your agent runs it, including supported local computers and hosted Linux environments. The engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.

Set up Tesseract by Mirage so you can create editable designs and 3D scenes, edit videos, and make motion graphics in this agent’s environment. Read https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract and check the requirements for this local or hosted environment. If it is supported, follow the official plugin or skills installation guide, use its required runtime version, verify the download checksum, and confirm a short preview renders correctly. Then ask what I want to make and which brand references or source assets I have. Keep the editable project and source assets with the finished render.
