Render motion across the shutter interval.

Add motion blur to animated 3D objects and camera moves in Tesseract. Refine shutter timing and samples while keeping the animation editable.

A rotating blade is integrated over a 360-degree shutter using 64 temporal samples. Its edges form continuous shutter blur rather than separate angular copies.

Rendered in Tesseract with path tracing at 64 samples per pixel. Download the editable project to revise the scene.

Use this prompt as a starting point. Review the result, then ask for the details you want to change.

A prompt to start from

Create a Tesseract loop with a rotating 3D object and a stationary camera. Render a sharp preview and a version with restrained shutter motion blur. Keep the silhouette readable. If the blur is too strong, shorten only the shutter interval while preserving the rotation speed, lighting and materials. Save the editable animation.

Keep control of the result.

Shutter angle
Set the duration of the sampled motion relative to the frame interval.
Shutter phase
Position the sampling interval around the frame time.
Samples
Balance smoother blur against render cost.
Animated scene content
Review camera motion, deformations, lights and shadows across the sampled interval.

A few useful details.

Does it work when only the camera moves?

Yes. Camera motion changes the sampled scene view and can contribute to motion blur.

Can I fix jerky timing by adding blur?

Blur can make movement read differently, but it does not fix an unwanted path or abrupt timing. Revise the animation first, then choose a suitable shutter interval.

Will it render in real time?

Not necessarily. Temporal samples increase work, especially with complex scenes or path tracing. Test representative frames before a full export.

How do I try this with my agent?

Install or update Tesseract in a supported agent, attach your source files, and copy the prompt. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Tesseract renders in the environment where your agent runs it, including supported local computers and hosted Linux environments. The engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.

Set up Tesseract by Mirage so you can create editable designs and 3D scenes, edit videos, and make motion graphics in this agent’s environment. Read https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract and check the requirements for this local or hosted environment. If it is supported, follow the official plugin or skills installation guide, use its required runtime version, verify the download checksum, and confirm a short preview renders correctly. Then ask what I want to make and which brand references or source assets I have. Keep the editable project and source assets with the finished render.
