Project graphics through a 3D light.

Use images or animated layers as supported light gobos in Tesseract. Ask your agent to project a pattern, shape the beam and control its softness.

An animated graphic filters a spotlight and projects onto a receiving surface.

Rendered in Tesseract with path tracing at 32 samples per pixel. Download the editable project to revise the scene.

Give your agent this .tsrct file, then ask for a specific change.

Try it in your agent.

Use this prompt as a starting point. Review the result, then ask for the details you want to change.

A prompt to start from

Create a Tesseract scene with a spot light projecting an editable graphic onto a neutral wall. Animate the graphic slowly while keeping the light position fixed. Add only enough haze to reveal the beam. Render a draft, then soften only the projection if it competes with the subject. Preserve the scene geometry and timing.

Keep control of the result.

Gobo source
Use a supported image or evaluated 2D layer to shape the projected light.
Placement and repeat
Adjust the pattern’s offset, scale, rotation and repeat behavior.
Beam shaping
Use supported spot angle, feather and barn-door controls.
Defocus and volumes
Review projection softness and the beam’s appearance in supported fog or volumes.

A few useful details.

How is projected light different from a decal?

Projected light illuminates receiving geometry. A decal changes the surface’s material appearance. A projection can therefore change with the light and scene setup.

Can the projected pattern animate?

Yes. A supported animated layer source can drive the gobo. Keep the layer timing and scene timing coordinated.

Does every light type accept a gobo?

No. Use the supported spot-projector controls rather than assuming the same input works on every emitter type.

How do I try this with my agent?

Install or update Tesseract in a supported agent, attach your source files, and copy the prompt. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Tesseract renders in the environment where your agent runs it, including supported local computers and hosted Linux environments. The engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.

Set up Tesseract by Mirage so you can create editable designs and 3D scenes, edit videos, and make motion graphics in this agent’s environment. Read https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract and check the requirements for this local or hosted environment. If it is supported, follow the official plugin or skills installation guide, use its required runtime version, verify the download checksum, and confirm a short preview renders correctly. Then ask what I want to make and which brand references or source assets I have. Keep the editable project and source assets with the finished render.
