Add light beams and haze to a 3D scene.

Create fog and bounded scattering volumes with your agent. Adjust density, scattering color and light direction in an editable Tesseract composition.

A spotlight beam moves through a finite scattering volume around a solid object.

Rendered in Tesseract with path tracing at 32 samples per pixel. Download the editable project to revise the scene.

Give your agent this .tsrct file, then ask for a specific change.

Try it in your agent.

Use this prompt as a starting point. Review the result, then ask for the details you want to change.

A prompt to start from

Create a Tesseract scene with a restrained fog volume and a narrow light beam behind a product. Keep the product edges readable and the background simple. Render preview frames before the full camera move. If the haze hides the object, reduce only the volume density and preserve the light direction, camera and material.

Keep control of the result.

Volume bounds
Place a finite box of participating medium where the effect is needed.
Density and color
Control how strongly the medium scatters and colors light.
Scattering direction
Adjust how the medium responds to light arriving from different directions.
Fog and projected light
Combine supported world fog or volumes with suitable lights and gobos.

A few useful details.

Can this simulate smoke or fire?

This workflow provides fog and homogeneous box volumes. It does not provide a smoke, fire or fluid simulation, or arbitrary VDB volume import.

How do I keep the subject clear?

Use restrained density, keep the strongest beam away from important text or edges, and inspect the entire camera move for loss of contrast.

Does increasing volume quality affect render time?

Yes. Scattering and path-tracing bounce settings can increase rendering cost. Start with a representative preview and use the settings needed for the shot.

How do I try this with my agent?

Install or update Tesseract in a supported agent, attach your source files, and copy the prompt. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Tesseract renders in the environment where your agent runs it, including supported local computers and hosted Linux environments. The engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.

Set up Tesseract by Mirage so you can create editable designs and 3D scenes, edit videos, and make motion graphics in this agent’s environment. Read https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract and check the requirements for this local or hosted environment. If it is supported, follow the official plugin or skills installation guide, use its required runtime version, verify the download checksum, and confirm a short preview renders correctly. Then ask what I want to make and which brand references or source assets I have. Keep the editable project and source assets with the finished render.
