Export footage and graphics together in HDR.

Render editable video layers, text, graphics, and supported effects into a 10-bit HDR video. Choose PQ or HLG output and keep the source project for future revisions.

Editable color fields and text include brightness references at 203, 600, and 1,000 nits. The embedded video is an SDR version. Download the HDR master to compare the references on a compatible display.

Original motion design made from native Tesseract layers. The HDR master preserves extended brightness; the embedded preview is SDR.

A prompt to start from

Use Tesseract to create an HDR motion graphic with animated color fields and bright, editable typography. Keep the background restrained and let the headline reach 1,000 nits. Add small reference areas at 203, 600, and 1,000 nits so I can compare their brightness on an HDR display. Export a 10-bit HEVC MP4 with PQ output and a separate SDR viewing version. Keep every layer editable and identify which file is HDR.

Keep control of the result.

HDR output mode
Choose PQ or HLG for the destination playback workflow.
Graphics brightness
Set the reference brightness for graphics in the HDR composition.
Editable source
Keep the project alongside the export so later changes do not require rebuilding it.

A few useful details.

What HDR video format does Tesseract export?

The native export workflow supports 10-bit HEVC Main 10 MP4 with PQ or HLG output and BT.2020 color signaling. The source project remains separate and editable.

Will the embedded preview look like HDR on every screen?

No. The embedded demonstration is an SDR viewing version. Full HDR appearance requires the HDR file, compatible playback software, an HDR display, and appropriate device settings.

Does uploading an HDR file guarantee HDR playback on a social platform?

No. A platform may transcode it to SDR. Verify the version that the destination actually serves, and prepare a good SDR version for destinations that do not preserve HDR.

Can SDR footage become HDR just by changing the export setting?

Changing the output format does not recover detail missing from the source. An SDR-to-HDR conversion is an interpretation of the image, and should be identified as converted rather than original camera HDR.

How do I try this with my agent?

Install or update Tesseract in a supported agent, attach your source files, and copy the prompt. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Tesseract renders in the environment where your agent runs it, including supported local computers and hosted Linux environments. The engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.

Set up Tesseract by Mirage so you can create editable designs, edit videos, and make motion graphics in this agent’s environment. Read https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract and check the requirements for this local or hosted environment. If it is supported, follow the official plugin or skills installation guide, use its required runtime version, verify the download checksum, and confirm a short preview renders correctly. Then ask what I want to make and which brand references or source assets I have. Keep the editable project and source assets with the finished render.
