Tesseract project converters
Move editable projects between your agent and Adobe.
Bring a Premiere Pro edit or After Effects composition to your agent. Take work made in Tesseract back into Adobe. Use the updated Tesseract skill to do both.
Read the prompt
Use the project-conversion workflow in the current Tesseract skill. Check that the converter is available in this environment and follow the skill’s installation instructions if needed. Ask whether I want to bring a Premiere Pro or After Effects project into Tesseract, or export a Tesseract project to one of those formats. Identify the required project, media, and fonts. Keep the original intact and explain the supported features and conversion limitations before proceeding.
Partial format support. After Effects export is experimental. Check compatibility
Supported elements stay editable. Keep the source project and review the converted result.

Use it through your agent.
Install or update Tesseract in your agent. Use the project-conversion workflow in the current skill; it supplies the converter setup instructions for that environment.
If your agent cannot find the workflow, check that its Tesseract plugin or skills are up to date. Find your setup guide.
- 01
Bring the project and its assets.
Share the editable source, linked footage, audio, images, and required fonts. Ask your agent to identify missing media before converting. Keep an untouched original.
- 02
Choose what to convert.
Identify the sequence or composition and the destination format. Ask your agent to follow the Tesseract skill’s converter workflow and report unsupported elements.
- 03
Review before you continue.
Check the converted project in the destination application. Compare key frames and a full preview, including the audio. Continue editing once the result is ready.
Tell your agent where to take the project.
Start with the files you have. Your agent can identify the next steps.

Before you convert.
How do I use the converters?
Use the current Tesseract plugin or skills in your supported agent environment. Ask your agent to follow the project-conversion workflow. It checks the required converter setup and works with the files you provide. The open-source converter repository is for technical details, issue reports, and contributions; you do not need to clone it to use the workflow.
Are these editable project files or rendered videos?
These workflows convert project structure between .tsrct, .prproj, and .aep. Supported elements stay editable in the destination project. Unsupported elements may be approximated or omitted, and some inputs may fail conversion. Export an MP4 separately when you need a finished video.
Will the converted project look exactly the same?
Not necessarily. Support is partial, and After Effects export is experimental. Fonts, text layout, effects, interpolation, and media handling can differ. Keep the original project, review conversion warnings, and compare previews in the destination application.
Do I need the source media and fonts?
Yes. A project file can reference assets stored elsewhere. Make the required footage, images, audio, and fonts available to the agent and the destination application. Do not assume conversion embeds, collects, or transcodes all media automatically.
Can I convert directly between Premiere Pro and After Effects?
The supported directions connect Tesseract with Premiere Pro or After Effects. Direct Premiere Pro-to-After Effects conversion is not supported. Exporting back from Tesseract creates a new Adobe project rather than restoring the original file’s complete state.
Can I help improve conversion support?
Yes. The converters are open source under the MIT license. Report a reproducible issue or contribute a format mapping, fix, or test in the Tesseract-Converter repository. Share only project files and assets you have permission to make public.

Set up Tesseract by Mirage so you can create editable designs, edit videos, and make motion graphics in this agent’s environment. Read https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract and check the requirements for this local or hosted environment. If it is supported, follow the official plugin or skills installation guide, use its required runtime version, verify the download checksum, and confirm a short preview renders correctly. Then ask what I want to make and which brand references or source assets I have. Keep the editable project and source assets with the finished render.
