Luminance track mattes.

Use the brightness of another layer to control visibility.

Use brightness to control a layer’s visibility. The fully opaque grayscale gradient reveals the coastal film most strongly on its bright side and hides its dark side. The video, gradient geometry and Luma matte relationship remain separately editable.

Use this prompt as a starting point. Review the result, then ask for the details you want to change.

A prompt to start from

Use Tesseract. Create an eight-second silent Tesseract composition. On a Bone canvas, use the Exposure[-30] title “Let light / lead.” at left. Reveal a moving coastal film at right through a fully opaque black-to-white horizontal gradient using a Luma track matte: the dark side disappears into the canvas while the bright side preserves the person and sea. Keep the matte source separate and editable. Use continuous footage as the motion; the mask should have a stable, soft spatial reveal.
