Mask operations.

Add, subtract, intersect, or combine masks.

Combine several masks on one moving video. Two circular Add masks create the film windows, then a Subtract mask cuts the gap between them. The mask order, operations and referenced geometry remain editable.

Try it in your agent.

Use this prompt as a starting point. Review the result, then ask for the details you want to change.

A prompt to start from

Use Strata. Create an eight-second silent Strata mask composition using the packaged coastal walking clip. On Bone, set “Cut a / new path.” in neutral Exposure[-30] at left. On the right, reveal the moving film through two overlapping circular vector masks, one large and one small, then subtract a narrow vertical strip to separate the windows. Slide only that subtractive mask into its final position over the opening three seconds. Keep all three masks as ordered Add/Add/Subtract operations on one video layer and preserve their referenced geometry.

A few useful details.

How do I try this with my agent?

Copy the prompt into your supported local agent with Strata installed. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Strata previews and renders locally on an Apple Silicon Mac. The local engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.
