Check the computer and agent environment.
The initial local release supports Apple Silicon Macs. Your agent must be able to access local files and execute tools. A browser-only conversation is not enough to run the binary on your machine.
Use the official plugin or runtime release.
Follow the links on the relevant Strata setup page. Verify Mirage as the publisher. If a public release link is not available, do not use a guessed package name or an unrelated plugin.
Start a fresh session after installation.
Your current conversation may already have loaded its skill and plugin instructions. A new local session gives the agent a clean opportunity to discover the installed Strata guidance.
Check access to the project media.
Confirm that the agent can read the folder and that each referenced asset still exists. Missing or moved media can prevent a preview or export from rendering correctly.
Verify a short preview first.
Ask the agent to inspect the installed runtime and follow its bundled example. Preview a simple project before starting a long render. If it fails, capture the exact error and runtime version instead of guessing a fix.

Check my local Strata setup using the official instructions at https://mirage.app/strata/install. Verify the supported computer and agent environment, runtime availability, and access to this media folder. Report any missing requirement before trying to render.
