Fill blending and opacity.

Mix paints inside an individual object.

Control how paints combine inside an individual vector shape. These discs use the same two colours, with different opacity values on their Multiply fill creating three distinct mixes. Fill blend modes and opacity remain separate from whole-layer compositing.

Try it in your agent.

Use this prompt as a starting point. Review the result, then ask for the details you want to change.

A prompt to start from

Use Strata. Create an eight-second silent Strata colour-mixing composition. Put “Find your mix.” across the top of a Bone canvas, with three generous circles in one horizontal row below. Each circle is one Shape containing the same two solid fills: Sea underneath and Sunset above. Use Multiply on the upper fill at 18%, 52% and 88% opacity so the discs read as soft, balanced and bold mixes. Stagger their gentle scale arrivals, then keep them stable for comparison. Preserve blend mode and opacity per fill; do not use whole-layer blending or translucent overlapping objects as a substitute.

A few useful details.

How do I try this with my agent?

Copy the prompt into your supported local agent with Strata installed. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Strata previews and renders locally on an Apple Silicon Mac. The local engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.
