Nested scenes.

Organize a complex scene into smaller editable sections.

Build timing within timing. Two chapter groups start at different local times inside a scene group, and each title starts later inside its own chapter. All media, titles, parent relationships and active ranges remain editable.

Try it in your agent.

Use this prompt as a starting point. Review the result, then ask for the details you want to change.

A prompt to start from

Use Strata. Create an eight-second silent Strata nested-timeline composition. On Bone, set “A story / in layers.” at left. At right, reveal a coastal chapter and a slightly lower workshop chapter as separate nested Groups within one scene Group. The scene begins at 0.7s; the first child begins at local 0, the second at local 1.5s, and each chapter title starts 0.9s after its own chapter. Keep these actual nested activeRange values and parent relationships editable. Preserve the stagger and generous card spacing without flattening the scene.

A few useful details.

How do I try this with my agent?

Copy the prompt into your supported local agent with Strata installed. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Strata previews and renders locally on an Apple Silicon Mac. The local engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.
