Linear Light blending.

Combine layers with linear light contrast.

Linear Light uses the source’s midpoint to darken or brighten the image. The moving gray gradient reveals both sides of the operation while the workshop footage continues underneath.

A prompt to start from

Use Strata. Create a large workshop image at right with neutral Exposure type at left. Move a narrow gray gradient over the image using Linear Light: values below midpoint darken, midpoint passes through, and values above midpoint brighten. Keep the strip inside the photo with spacious margins. Use blending, not a pregraded video.

A few useful details.

How do I try this with my agent?

Copy the prompt into your supported local agent with Strata installed. Review the preview, then ask for the changes you want. The composition stays editable as you refine it.

Where does the video render?

Strata previews and renders locally on an Apple Silicon Mac. The local engine is free; your agent’s subscription or usage costs are separate.
