Welcome to Mirage Studio, the AI-powered video generation platform that allows you to create lifelike videos without traditional production, brought to you by Captions LLC. To register for an account to use Mirage Studio, you must first accept the Captions Terms of Service (the “Terms of Service”) as well as these special terms applicable to your use of Mirage Studio (the “Mirage Studio Terms”). The Mirage Studio Terms form a part of the Terms of Service and together form a legally binding agreement between Captions (“Captions,” we,” or “us”) and the entity agreeing to the Mirage Studio Terms (“User,” “you,” or “your). Mirage Studio is a “Service” as defined in the Terms of Service.
These Mirage Studio Terms are effective on the earlier of when you click to accept these terms and your first use of Mirage Studio. All capitalized terms used herein and not defined have the meaning given such terms in the Terms of Service. Please note that Mirage Studio is intended for use by businesses and organizations and not for consumer purposes.
Mirage Studio enables Users to create Output using Mirage Studio-generated avatar images and voice generation features for advertising or other purposes. Any Output that you create using Mirage Studio and distribute commercially is referred to herein as “Mirage Video.” Mirage Studio is currently only available at mirage.app and cannot be accessed via Caption’s mobile app.
Your use of Mirage Studio is subject to your compliance with our AUP and with the terms set forth in the Terms of Service as well as these Mirage Studio Terms. You represent and warrant that in connection with your use of Mirage Studio (i) you have obtained all necessary rights and/or consents to any Input in accordance with our Terms of Service and AUP, (ii) you will disclose that AI was used to generate the Mirage Videos and that the Mirage Videos are advertisements, as and when appropriate, (iii) you will include all other disclosures as required by law, including but not limited to endorsement disclosures required under the Federal Trade Commission Act, and (iv) you will not state, suggest, or otherwise communicate that Captions endorses you or the Mirage Videos.
Captions may make changes to certain features or functionalities of Mirage Studio from time to time, including by adding or removing features, or increasing or decreasing capacity limits. Captions and its Affiliates assume no liability for any such changes.
You may be required to register for a Mirage Studio account (a “Mirage Account”) that will be separate from your Captions Customer Account, if any. The provisions set forth under “Customer Accounts” in the Terms of Service apply to your Mirage Account.
Mirage may offer one or more automatically renewing Plans for Mirage Studio (a “Mirage Plan”) which may be offered for a monthly or yearly fee payable at the start of the relevant period. The features included in each Mirage Plan, are set out in the description of each such Plan. Captions does not represent or warrant that particular features and benefits will be offered indefinitely in a Mirage Plan and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the fees or pricing structure or alter the features and benefits associated with a Mirage Plan. If Captions changes the monthly or annual fee charged for a Mirage Plan, Captions will notify you and provide you with the opportunity to cancel your subscription before your Mirage Plan subscription is renewed for another subscription term. If you do not wish to continue subscribing with the new subscription fees, you may cancel your Mirage Plan subscription within the specified notice period. We may make Plan feature changes. Your continued use of Mirage Studio after a fee or feature change becomes effective will constitute your acceptance of the change, and any updated terms and conditions will apply for the remaining subscription term and all renewals going forward.
